Island Bay School Fair aimed to reduce its environmental impact while bringing the community together. Building on the success of reusable cups at the 2023 fair, the school partnered with FillGood to implement a full-scale reusable serviceware system for the 2024 fair.

The FillGood Solution:
FillGood supplied a fleet of reusable cups, plates, and bowls along with the wash trailer and a signage system. By replacing disposable serviceware with reusables, FillGood helped Island Bay School Fair take a significant step toward reducing waste.

Impact Highlights:

• 42.82kg of waste diverted from landfills, thanks to the use of reusable serviceware.

• Partnered with their waste minimisation efforts, the event avoided or diverted 96% of resources from landfill
